Yasanka Chalasani or otherwise known as Yash is a current senior at Baylor University. He is originally from Madison, Alabama. He came to Baylor University as a scholar in the Baylor2Baylor Medical Track Program, which grants 6 students in each class provisional acceptance into medical school at Baylor College of Medicine following their undergraduate time at Baylor University. At Baylor, Yash is a Baylor Business Fellow pursuing a degree in finance and is actively involved on campus. In the past, he was a financial analyst for the Philip M Dorr and Friends Endowment Fund, a student run $10 million portfolio that supports Baylor scholarships, and he currently is as associate at the Baylor Angel Network, a student run investor network where he helps vet start ups seeking funding. Yash is also an analyst for Bios Partners, a biotech venture capital fund. After medical school, he plans to be an entrepreneur and influence global health and health policy.
Luke Troyer is a sophomore at Baylor University, seeking a degree in both Finance and Management Information Systems. He is originally from Palo Alto, California. Growing up in the Silicon Valley, Luke has always been passionate about technology and innovation. Upon graduation, he hopes to one day move back to California and work in the tech industry. Luke is involved in several student organizations across Baylor’s campus. One of which is called “Baylor Ambassadors,” a higher education funding advocacy group that travels to the state capital in Austin and also to Washington DC. Additionally, Luke is member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity where he has served on the executive board for the past two years.
